- I just culled my library because, while preparing for a move, I discovered the paperbacks that have been my traveling companions since the 1970s are falling apart and yellowing. In 2010 I did the same because I moved to a smaller place. Sadly, my goal since 2010 has been to buy only kindle books or to borrow from the library. My allergies, my general state of disorder, and small-apartment living demand it. LibraryThing has made it much easier to say goodbye, and I wish I'd had it in 2010.
