- My ideal would be to have a modest collection of books that I know and love, with a few that remain unread. The reality is that my shelves are crammed with what is likely wonderful stuff that I've never gotten to, as I used to work in bookstores and made profligate use of my staff discount. Some days this is wonderful, some days it's just overwhelming.
