I lived in an apartment in Manhattan for many years and so for every book I wanted to add to the shelves, I had to remove one......too painful. Now live in a small house and continue to use the public library. Since I am on the Board, I usually manage to get the books I want to read.

Started off as a public librarian in Brooklyn and after 5 years moved to publishing...marketing books to libraries at Random House, Inc(Knopf & Pantheon), then Bantam Doubleday Dell, then Scholastic..... Now live in a town of 600 people in Bondville, VT. spending my days skiing,playing a golf and bridge, and reading.
