I haven't read all the books I own -- I try to acquire books I think I'll need as I run across them, usually for cheap at used bookstores. I really want to hold a white-elephant-book-swap with other nerds -- anyone know of any already existing trading venues in Los Angeles?

I'm a doctoral student in communication. My areas of interest (some of them anyway) are cultural studies, reality television, consumer culture, queer theory, feminist theory, critical race theory, political identity, etc... you know the type.
