My library is mostly used books I get from Thriftbooks.com, but on occasion I'll splurge for a hardcover especially if it's an old favorite. I almost never buy books if I'm reading them for the first time; instead I use my local public library. Then, if the book is good, I'll buy it later.

Latest Library Adventure: Collecting different editions and translations of War and Peace. I've got Maude/Mandelker (Oxford, 2011), Edmonds (Greenwich House Classics, 1988), Pevear/Volokhonskaya (Random House, 2007), and I'm looking to get ahold of Briggs (Penguin, 2005) and some fancy editions of Maude and Edmonds.

Old-school book aficionado. Often found imbibing copious quantities of Harney & Sons cinnamon tea while working on a novel.
