I particularly like old spy and detective stories and have reread John LeCarre, Eric Ambler, Raymond Chandler, etc. many times.

I'm a former Foreign Service Officer and nearing retirement as an economist. I wanted to be a writer as a kid and have written on and off for years. The ability to self publish has made it much more fun and I'm aiming to put out two to three books a year in the hope that someone will find them worth reading.
