I loved The Time Traveler's Wife! I gave my coll. sr. daughter the newest book by this author. She really liked it. As soon as I finish with My Life In France,another book club selection,I want to read Her Fearful Symmetry.

we share a lot of favorites - eg - stones from the river, book thief, year of wonders, ahab's wife - they take my breath away -

I accept your invitation to be friends. I see we have 109 books in common! I have been keeping a journal of all I read since 1998! I am in one book club and sometimes the picks make me feel I am back in school slogging thru choices. Like...The Blind Assassin which I just finished a week or so ago. That was so dense I immediately read a thriller I got on early reviewers.

Thanks for your friendly note. Welcome to LibraryThing! I swear I am addicted to book sites - and spend too much of my precious reading time reading ABOUT books instead of all the TBRs on my shelves. Well, I guess there are worse addictions. :)

Hi - thanks for adding my library. LT is such a wonderful way to find new books to read and to remember those I'd read and forgotten - not to mention a whole site of fellow book lovers. I am currently reading Chris Bohjalian's newest book - he is one of my favorite authors (and, I see, one of yours), and the book is promising thus far. I heard him speak at a writers' conference last year, and he was very engaging and unassuming. Please stay in touch - we share a lot of your books -Pat
