I have a weakness for books about magic, fantasy, fae, fairy tales and witches. One of my Favorite Author's is Holly Black. Her books set me on the path to my obsession with the Fae. I read the Cruel Prince in two days and The Wicked King in a day. I couldn't put them down!
I also love mystery/thrillers, but only up to a YA level. I'm a bit of a weenie when it comes to legit Steven King type scary, but I love a good YA Thriller. I am currently loving Megan Miranda's books. Her books are so easy to read and give me the perfect combination of mystery without being scary.

I read for a living... literally, so I do read a ton of picture books and junior fiction/middle school books as well. One book that stole my heart when I read it was The Language of Spells by Garret Weyr. I'm also drawn to anything that gives me a Harry Potterish feel, like Nevermoor: The Trials of Moorigan Crow.

Born and Raised in Houston Texas and I am now a Children's Librarian at a small town library in Kentucky. I live on a farm with my husband, who is not a farmer but a police officer, and my 3 kids. We have 2 horses, 2 dogs, 2 chickens and 2 cats. We apparently like the number 2. I vary rarely read anything above a YA level, but I am trying to expand my horizon and want to start The All Souls Trilogy soon.
