I really enjoy many different books and different genres.

If you've not had the chance to read The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold, I urge you to do so (and especially before seeing the movie). This is one of those stories that "happens" and the sheer straightforwardness of this book is chilling. A must read again.

I am also a fan of some classic novels like Wuthering Heights, Lady Audley's Secret, The Canterbury Tales, and Beowulf.

Some books that I have on my bookcase and would definitely read many more times include The Color Purple, Bearheart: The Heirship Chronicles, The Heartsong of Charging Elk, Drown, and Jewels.

I recommend On Our Own Ground, The Lovely Bones, and Almanac of the Dead for those readers who like to immerse themselves into books that are intellectually stimulating and engages the imagination.

Sobre mí

I am working on two separate scripts. One is going better than the other, but isn't that writing for you? :) One script is a mystery/suspense and the other one is an animation. I will post updates here as much as possible.

I am scheduled to attend (participate in if my abstract is accepted) the 2014 NAAAS Joint Conference. This is exciting because it's been a little over five years since I've attended and participated in a conference.

I read all the time and I enjoy doing research. Creative writing, research, and literature is really more my field than the other English subjects.
