Susie Wild is a writer, journalist and editor based in south Wales. She was born in London in 1979, and her words have appeared all over the shop, including Bugged...Writings from Overhearings (CompletelyNovel.com, 2010), Nu: fiction & stuff (Parthian Books, 2009), Mslexia, The Stage, The Guardian, New Welsh Review, Planet, The Big Issue, the BBC, and Clash Magazine. She regularly performs her poetry in dives and dance halls. The Art of Contraception is her first book. It was long-listed for the Edge Hill Short Story Prize 2011 and won 'Fiction Book of the Year' in the Welsh Icons Awards 2010. Her Kindle Single novella 'Arrivals' will be released globally through Parthian Books in May 2011.
