Sobre mi biblioteca
I own more than the most recent in children's fantasy. Having studied English extensively in college, I have a number of classics, not all of which I have yet added to my list; I'm still working on it and will update this as well. I also own some collectors items, some being science fiction from the Easton Press and some being antique editions of children's books such as some books in The Wizard of Oz series.
Sobre mí
I am a self-published author of a children's inspirational fantasy book. I have also had two poems, "Autobahn" and "Thunderstorms," published in the Fairbanks Daily New-Miner. I was raised in Fairbanks, Alaska. I was fascinated by the Alaskan woods and loved playing there. My parents bought six and a half acres of woods in the Goldstream Valley outside of Fairbanks. Playing in these woods helped to stimulate my imagination. In my twenties I moved to Washington state, where I have lived in various parts of the Puget Sound area. I hold a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Alaska and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Washington. I am now substitute teaching on Whidbey Island where I own a house and enjoy walking with my Japanese Spitz, Haley. I've been a Christian since I was eleven, was confirmed when I was thirteen and now am active in the Coupeville United Methodist Church. My activities at the church include singing in the choir, doing crafts for the church bazaar and teaching crafts to children.
