- Sobre mi biblioteca
- I'm happy with my little collection, shame I have no space to putt all of them. They are either all stacked up inside a wardrobe or stacked up beside my bedspace in a towering group of structures which threaten to one day topple over and smother me in my sleep.
Most of these books are ones I've acquired in various charity shops. Can't seem to go anywhere without accumulating yet another dozen books or more, I've also a ton of books from my childhood which are not on my list, being stored away in the attic and thus not much use to anyone.
I love history, mainly a good narrative history that reads almost like fiction to keep me interested, not so fond of the more drier types of the 70's and 80's. Bloody Communists I say! Historical Fiction too is grand as long as it's well written, although I don't really enjoy historical fiction that focus' too much on an important historical character, ruins the illusion of history for me.
I've crudely tagged about half of my collection, I may get around to doing the rest, or scrapping the ones I've already tagged and re-tagging them, or just leaving it the way it is depending on how lazy I feel.
No doubt the number of books will pile up as I accumulate more and more from the charity places, and the rare book I purchase brand new...
I'm quite impressed with my Pratchett collection, not far from having the entire set of main Discworld books, then it's on to the other lot. I love Mr. Pratchett :nods:
I guess that's all for now. - Sobre mí
- Slacker. :nods:
Interested in history and historical-fiction mostly, thus the majority of my books are of said categories.
Onoze look at the long haired metal-head slacker!11one and so forth. Er, what else to say, eh? I worship the Great Penguin, play grand-strategy games, listen to music your Nan won't want to and enjoy movies which are either of a Warlike nature or involve violence or cheesy old horror of some sorts.
I love Vincent Price. :rar: - Ubicación
