Most of the books in my LT library will be non-fiction for children (not that we don't also read and adore fiction!), with reviews that include descriptions of how the book was useful to us as homeschoolers.
I'll also include many of my favorite non-fiction reads for adults, many of which inform my approach to parenting and to our homeschooling journey, while also igniting my sense of wonder with the world, how it works, and our place in it.

Lover of books and homeschooling parent with an agenda: to pass on the love! We take an eclectic approach to homeschooling, following "The Well-Trained Mind" (Wise, Wise Bauer) recommended schedule for history and science, two subjects that quickly became favorites at our house. So many of the gorgeously illustrated non-fiction picture books that have been created over the past several years have really brought these subjects to life in new and exciting ways. It's a brave new world in children's books and I'm so thrilled to be teaching and learning in the midst of it.
