I love the classics-- ones with real feeling like Thomas Hardy, Charlotte Bronte, Victor Hugo, Margaret Mitchell, and L.M. Montgomery. I love modern Christian novels-- the ones that really say something and speak into needs in the human heart like Francine Rivers and Liz Curtis Higgs. I love soul-building books by classic Christian writers like Oswald Chambers, A.W. Tozer, and Amy Carmichael, as well as contemporary ones like Philip Yancey, John Eldridge, and Beth Moore. I thrive on Donald Miller. I love to view the world through the lens of what I'm reading... Oh, and e.e. cummings and Edna St. Vincent Millay see me through long nights.

I'm an avid reader, but I'm picky about what I read. I'm a passionate writer, but I'm stuck in the limbo between knowing I have something to offer and knowing where to offer it. I moved to England because that's where the classics come from-- Okay, well, maybe that's not exactly why, but it's a nice plus :) I once met International best-selling Christian author Francine Rivers for coffee to "talk shop" about being writers... I love the written word...
