Sobre mi biblioteca

Obviously I've read many more books than I've added to this account. What you see here are a few books that I think are so great I want to tell people about them. If you see it here and I haven't already done so, I plan to review it.

Now that I do have that Kindle I have been reading a lot of new books, but I've also slowly been downloading a lot of old favorites to reread. So I'll be reviewing both new and old favorites.

I hope I keep this up. I think it will be a lot of fun.

I like to read. Recently I got a Kindle 2, and lest anyone doubt, I think, it's great. I've been reading more than ever since I got it. Living here in the boonies it's so much more convenient to download a book than to wait two weeks to drive an hour to the nearest bookstore or wait for it by mail order. Also I find more of what I want to read for the Kindle than I do at the brick and mortar store. This is especially true of backlist books which are still in print but not the newest hot sellers. Yes, it is true that most bookstores are happy to order a book, but then I have to make two out-of-town trips: one to see if they have the book and place the order, one to go back and pick it up.

So anyway, now that LibraryThing finally came up with a Facebook application, I thought this would be a good time to start writing reviews.

I'll be doing National Novel Writing Month again this November. Hopefully they'll get the first widget fixed soon to say 2010.
