Sobre mi biblioteca
I have been keeping track of books that I read since ~1980. Eventually they may all end up catalogued here. I enjoy historical novels, thought-provoking fiction and some non-fiction. I love reading the Classics. I like reading books that address the social ills of our day. The first book I enter will have to be the one I have authored, DRIFTLESS.
Sobre mí
I published my first historical novel in 2021. Driftless takes place in the Driftless Region of rural southeastern MN. Set in 1945. About mental illness and its treatment in a farming community of Norwegian-American immigrants. The main character is hospitalized in a mental hospital before the time of medication for mental illness.
I am a retired medical social worker. My husband and I retired early and moved onto our sailboat where we lived for ~5 years on the East Coast and Caribbean. We live on land again and have settled in Memphis, TN.
