- Alexander Maksik's first novel, "You Deserve Nothing," will be published in September by Tonga Books - Alice Sebold's new imprint at Europa Editions.
"You Deserve Nothing" will be published in the UK by John Murray Publishers, in Italy by Edizioni E/O, in Spain by Miscelánea, in South Korea by Book21 and by AST in Russia.
He has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and is the recipient of a Truman Capote Fellowship and a Teaching/Writing Fellowship from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop.
