Informative and comprehensive regional mammal guide which includes useful maps, helpful descriptions of physical & behavioral characteristics, habitat, etc. The numerous black and white illustrations are detailed and of superior quality, but I can't help wishing for a new edtion that also includes some color photographs. A wonderful addition to the library of anyone interested in the wildly varied wildlife of the western United States, especially those species who reside at higher elevations.… (más)
