Meh. I expected a clichéd shoujo manga from the title and I suppose I shouldn't be disappointed that I got it, but the lead character was a bit too stereotypically dense for my liking and the male lead (as usual) has more sparkles than personality. I'm sure you can find better examples of the genre, but I will grant that the art is adorable, and if you're just in the mood for formulaic fluff this is cute enough.

I love this series i own the only 2 volumes that are out there...I also wish sensai Yagami would of extended the series longer than what it was.

The story centers around the relationship between Rena and Tomoya. Rena is your not-so typical middle school student due to the fact that she is also a popular mangaka (manga artist), whom while drawing love scenes, bumps into also popular Tomoya. Rena, out of desperation for more material asks Tomoya to be her boyfriend for research purposes thinking there is now way he would want to be her girlfriend just because she is who she is. However, the reason Tomoya agrees is not for the reasons Rena thinks.

This is a great little Manga for those who like romantic Manga. It also takes the opportunity to point out some of the absurdities of Shojo as it is usually written. It's light hearted, funny, and a great read for a cozy afternoon. The story that is previewed at the end of this book is also very interesting and I will be picking that up next. I will definitely purchase this series.
