This book is great for young students learning about computers and how they first began, as well as how much they have developed since then. This book also teaches children about how computers function. This book is great because children today should know how the cell phones in our hands that are essentially computers, came to be. This may not be the most interesting book to read, but it is important for children to know.

I like this book because of the use of informational text features. I like that the author starts by talking about why the radio was so useful to people and how it came about. The author then goes over the timeline of the radio throughout history. I really like that the authors provide many pictures with captions. These pictures are all related to those time periods in which the author talks about. Even though the pictures are used old, they are still clear which adds something to the book. The big idea of this book is to help children see why the radio is important to us.… (más)
