This chapter book combines math history and modern-day technology for students. This would benefit teachers because it gives realistic math problems and helps students see math is everywhere. It also has pictures which will make the read more enjoyable.

It is very, very good at connecting abstract math concepts with the everyday. With pictures! Although it might be aimed for a younger audience, i want to buy it for my math-averse college students.

Note: I only read the first few chapters and skimmed through the rest. I do plan on reading the rest of it.

It’s a Numberful World, goes over multiple systems that are powered by math. This book is phenomenal due to the approach to math it was written in. Woo’s book brings this form of excitement and wonder into the classroom and would serve well as a guide to pull real-world applications from and as a classroom library assignment.… (más)

Its a numberful world is a great book that shows how math is seen everywhere. I want this book in my classroom because I want to show my students that they are learning a very important concept for their everyday life. I want kids to see that math is important and that there is a reason that they are learning it.
