*I read this book awhile ago but apparently Zon didn’t publish my review, so sorry that this is late and just from memory

Lovely start to a series. I really liked Liza and seeing her deal with and overcome the trauma she’d survived. She has a few tstl moments, but I understand feeling trapped can make good decision making a bit difficult.

I also tend to be a fan of more slower burn romances, usually I feel like fast burn loses the build, anticipation... romance. I didn’t get that with A Call To Pride. Even though the relationship happened fairly quickly, it still managed to be sweet, there were still the ‘awe that’s so cute’ moments.

I will say I’m very intrigued to read book 2, it wasn’t necessarily a cliffhanger per say but more of a ‘whaaaaaa it’s over already?!?’ And is it wrong of me to wish the others were her mates too 🙈 #herownpride… (más)
