local history interests me but the part written my ms. de wolfe was semi repetitive and referenced lots of other "factory girl" murders that i wasn't familiar with, i decided against finishing the second section of the book, which was a reprint of two salacious 1850's "yellow" newspaper serials or extras that were made into murder mystery like pamphlets
