Out in All Directions : A Treasury of Gay and… por Eric Marcus

Overall, this book does a good job of describing gay and lesbian history and culture, in all its breadth and depth. The best parts are the various personal essays on coming out, dealing with racial as well as sexual identity, and other topics. I could do without the lists of various figures who may or may not have been gay -- I'd rather have fewer listings (of confirmed GLBT folks) with more biographical information.
