Film has a few imaginative moments and the likable Katt, but the script that joins the good moments together is just too stupid from beginning to end, and the awful cover versions of familiar songs like "You're No Good" are excruciating. Wendt doesn't belong in this film at all. It would have been better if it had just stuck to horror. Nice to see Moll, however.

The children are led by the least charismatic of kid cult leaders / preachers so far - this one is so lame that he requires an adult supervisor in the form of David Carradine. The acting is average at best with a wasted Eva Mendes probably the best of a limp bunch. Things are spiced up, however, by some nice cameos: Kane Hodder as a bartender and Fred Williamson as the local sheriff. "Fields of Terror" was just about passable but possibly the weakest in the series to date.… (más)
