A somewhat hodgepodge collection of stories and information about espionage, ranging from ancient times to the cold war era, with an emphasis on the threat of Soviet communism. While a bit dated, especially technologically (a satellite that drops film cartridges to Earth!), the information here is intrinsically interesting and makes for a good, quick read.

A book with many spy stories that are very interesting. The cold war is over and spy stories do not come out like they did in the sixties. This book covers the history of spying.
