In which two English dreamers who aspire to play for a national team determine that the worst national team in the world, and hence the one they have the best chance of playing for, is the Central Pacific island of Pohnpei. When research reveals that even the worst national teams have players who are on professional or semi-professional teams, often in Europe, they decide to switch to coaching. And so they turn up in Pohnpei and try to set up first a national league and then a national team. The book has two threads; the first is the football and the second is clawing through corporate and football bureaucracies trying to find funding.
