A tender biography of Mother Teresa which tells the story of her life from her childhood in Macedonia to her winning of the Nobel Peace Prize. The text captures the events of her life with the perfect amount of detail while maintaining a consistent narrative.

Content considerations are for brief depictions of human suffering. Appropriate for ages 6 and up, but may not be as engaging to those on the younger end.

Solid biographical outline up to 1980. Numerous anecdotes showing her persistence (pp 56 and 59) , her practical nature (p 52), others' accusations that she was spoiling the poor (p 104) and futile in her efforts. Clearly shows how she saw Jesus in those she met (p 73-4). This is a good book to demonstrate Christian character in the real world. For specific references:; Christians help all p 53, biggest disease was loneliness p 84, her modesty p 111, 'god incidences p 112 RAC
