This is an excellent example of the erotic flagellation genre, M/F (and some F/F) subdivision. It’s a very inventive plot, not too unbelievable, and is absolutely riddled with well-described episodes in which the principal female characters, Jo and Lucy, are subjected to the extremes of erotic stimulus, both in flagellation (whips, straps and canes) and in more conventional practices of arousal. The core of the plot is an old book, the reading of whose pages makes women extremely aroused and desirous of satisfying their deepest desires urgently and vigorously. It’s surprisingly easy to handle the improbability of this, and once that is done the book whisks the reader through some fascinating turns of fortune, all underpinned by extreme sensuality.… (más)
