The Author does bring you into this world with the vivid descriptions. From the first page it starts out with a strong story line and alot of action. Worth the read.
I was given a copy in return for my honest review.

Sorrel is a pilot, rebel and trained sorceress, who starts her tale of adventure walking away from her crashed triplane. Her co-pilot is dead and she is badly injured, but she uses a magical "jasq" creature which she took from a dragonlord named Wrack to begin to heal herself. She is from the surface world, but her damaged plane has fallen into a wide, long, seemingly bottomless and perpetually cloudy crevice in the world. When she is rescued from the crash by a band of human refugees, she discovers that the clouds were hiding another world of overly red vegetation and lantern trees with vicious goblin armies led by sorcerer lizards battling to enslave the human cities and populations. There are moments where the action appears forced, but for the most part, fans of fantasy adventures will be well satisfied by this heroine's journey.… (más)
