I liked this book a lot. There's no real story as such - a maidservant starts jotting down her thoughts on the suggestion of one of her employers. As she writes, she realises what new perspectives writing gives her, and takes the time to explore her thoughts. It's a nicely woven story of self-discovery and learning to acknowledge your deepest thoughts instead of pushing them away as unimportant..
