I thoroughly enjoyed reading London's Burning by Brent Towns. Multiple storylines kept me engaged in this action-packed suspense story. Other reviewers also mention that Mr. Towns is improving with each new book. Although this story leaves somewhat of a cliffhanger, I will purchase the next book to see how the final event turns out. Great job! I highly recommend any of the books in this series...I've not been let down yet.

I thoroughly enjoyed Collateral Damage by Brent Towns and feel that this is the best book of the series to date. There is very little idle time in this book as Reaper and his teams move from country to country. Only this time, the bad guys seem to be a step ahead of them no matter where they go. A group called The Cabal is attempting to wipe out the Drug Enforcement Team, and must have a mole on the inside and people in powerful positions in order to do what they do. I also enjoy the addition of a new team member, the British bloke's wit allows readers to take a breath and release tension during this twisty and turning story. The ending is surprising and is a good lead in to the next installment. Highly recommended!… (más)

I've read every book in the Team Reaper series to date and must say that Danger Close seems like it was written by a different author. After losing members of his team in Afghanistan, John Kane embarks on the remainder of his mission in Iran with a CIA female operative. From the start, she is disruptive and the banter she attempts isn't funny at all - doing so even during a firefight.

There is action at the beginning and at the end, but the middle seems to continuously get bogged down. Battles against overwhelming odds take place with the two of them coming out unscathed.

The final battle on a former island stronghold pits Team Reaper (with team members from former missions) against the elite Albanian special forces soldiers is more in line with how the action takes place in the author's previous books.

Danger Close was still an okay read, but I'm hoping that if Mr. Towns continues the series, he stays with what has worked in the past.

Kill Theory is engaging from the very first page and difficult to put down. There is action galore throughout with very little in between engagements. Somebody in the US Government is feeding information to Mexico about Team Reaper's missions and their whereabouts. Their base in the US is attacked and destroyed, the remainder of the team must go underground in order to survive. Who will survive? This is the best so far in the series.
