How to Live Like a Lady is a decent overview of common etiquette, but it never really goes in to too much detail - dining, dress and such are covered basically, so if you're starting from a blank slate then this is a good book for you. If you've a concept of basic etiquette already and need to brush up before a formal dinner, then you may need a different guide. Additionally, some of the advice was delivered in an accusatory fashion, which I found offputting (the introduction is particularly at fault here), and the book is certainly geared towards a British audience.

Overall, not a bad book, but I wouldn't pay cover-price for it.… (más)
