I cannot count how long I have looked for a decent merman romance (not merMAID, please) and here it is. Damaraion was an absolutely adorable merman thrust into the human world (I loved watching him do things like walk on legs for the first time). I appreciate how the hero wasn't some alpha hero with a caveman complex but instead this huggable, sweet guy who develops an adoration for Cassie, our heroine, as she shows him the human world. The plot wasn't half-bad, for a romance novel, and my only complaint is that while Cassie and Damarion were cute together, I felt like their romance developed way too fast. They went from being friends to I-can't-live-without-you love practically overnight. I'm hoping that in future novels (and their will be more, thankfully!) we can see their romance grow and deepen.… (más)
