I decided to read this after I read some raving reviews and I have always been fascinated by the Jekyll and Hyde story. But this book was just a major let down.

I felt the story was hard to follow and the characters seemed inconsistent and unlikeable, especially Eden who was cast as this good girl in one moment only to turn cynic and hard in the next. And I am not talking about when she transforms into Chastity.

And Mitch just seemed like a sleazy jerkass to me.Ugh

Also the sex scenes just plain weirded me out and werent very sexy at all.

The good:
- I enjoyed the rapport between Addison and Rhyse; it was funny and entertaining. Plus their physical chemistry was sexy.
- The world building was solid. The structure of the supernatural world made sense and it was easy to see how every race had its place and why some races were better off than others.
- The book is very well written and edited.

The not so good:
- I sometimes had trouble following Addison's motivations and emotions. That might be because she didn't understand them either.
- Without spoiling anything, I didn't like the ending. Addison's decision was logical but unreasonable. I feel like authors write this type of situation to force unnecessary tension and drama.
- There were a few formatting problems where a line of text broke off onto the next line.

I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

Twist to modern day Jekyll and Hyde involving both sexes. Clinical trials are under way that have Mitch and Eden in the darkness as to their troubles. Mitch is aware of his dark side and controls it. Eden thinks she is only sleep walking and needs a caretaker to help keep her safe. But what they don't know is that they are being manipulated and pushed towards each other for a reason.
