This two-night read presents career capsules followed by 'where are they now?' type sketches for fifty baseball players, almost all from the fifties and sixties, illustrated by their baseball cards and, occasionally, photos of them in the late seventies. It's a fun, nostalgic read which could have used a tad more care from author, editor, or publisher; there are too many misspellings and howlers such as the Giants and the Dodgers contesting the 1941 World Series.
