This book was a surprise to me. I find it extremely interesting discovering why someone develops an eating disorder. He protagonist of this book.makes her living as a wellness influencer but she is living a lie.

She mistakenly enrolls in a six week wellness rehab for people who have eating disorders. She has a problem in that she like to brings and purge. She attempts to hide but in the end she can not. She sees a therapist at the center who realizes what has caused her problem. This book is a must read for young girls..… (más)

I received this book through Amazon's "First Reads" program. The characters were well developed, and credible. As a warning -- those with eating disorders, especially bulimia, should be forewarned of a continuous dialog of the bulimic process, which could be offsetting. For me, with no background in bulimia, I was taken into an environment of understanding the depths of struggles that those with bulimia face. Overall, I thought it was a good, real narrative, but I completely understand how it could be quite "raw" to some. I thank the author for letting us hear about this issue.… (más)
