It's a sampler for a short story which totals 15.000 words according to the blurb.

Female main character Jess has developed all sorts of tricks to stop her from falling asleep. This is because she apparently is terrified of something that happened a long time ago while she was sleeping and is afraid might happen again.
Now I always understood that a human needs sleep, and particularly undisturbed rem-sleep, in order to survive, so with a lot of suspension of disbelief - okay.
One night, it happens. Someone named Matthias shows up while she's asleep. Matthias is apparently an incubus.
She hates what happens next so much that she decides to visit her usual friend-with-benefits for some sexual relief. Which she doesn't find, because he suddenly appears wanting compared to Matthias.

Right. So how did that happen? Beats me.

Soooo....this is the free sampler of a very short story. Got that right?? The full length novella is 15,000 words. That averages out to about 60 pages. For $3.99

In comparison, NaNoWriMo has a minimum requirement of 50,000 words to complete their novel writing contest. This averages out to about 200 pages.

Yeah. So. This sampler was ok. There were some sex scenes. There was not enough length to the story or character development to get me interested in the book. At all. 60 pages for $3.99???!?!? Does the author have any clue how many free full length novels i can get from Amazon on a daily basis?? Today I stopped somewhere around 20. That's right. 20 free books.

SMH. 60 pages for $3.99. I wish I would.
