This novelization of the “Son of God” film tells the story of Jesus Christ and His earthly ministry. Despite being a quick read, the book is relevant and reverent in the telling of the life Jesus; the recounting of the miracles performed and the lessons He taught is comprehensive. The format of the novelization is eminently readable, the story, though occasionally gritty, is realistic, powerful, and inspirational.

However, the typographical errors in the text tend to pull the reader out of the story and, since they are quite extensive, it’s difficult to rate the book without considering them. Therefore, the narrative itself rates a solid five stars and deserves the recommendation noted below, but the rating is reduced two stars for those uncorrected errors.
