This book has some good ideas for diet motivation and inspiration, many of them revolving around keeping notes in a journal. There are assignments for each of 100 days. I read this book straight through, but I might considering purchasing it in the future and working on each assignment, one day at a time.

Well written, not much new but well said. Helpful strategies for people with emotional reasons for over-eating.

This was a very useful book in understanding some of my eating issues. I do tend to use food as a comfort when stressed, bored, etc. The steps that Ms. Spangle outlines for identifying why I want to eat, what I'm craving, and what I could do instead are simple and useful. I've been trying them out. Already I can feel that food is less of a draw than it has been, and I'm hopeful that eventually I can cope with my life in ways that don't add pounds to my body!
