A helpful little book that likely appeals to teens the most. Contains a balance of humourous takes on situations like how to stay alert in church and funniest stories in the bible with truly useful information such as a chart comparing Christian denominations, important parts of the bible, and common Lutheran practices.

This little handbook is a wonderful resource for Lutheran pastors and seminarians alike. It mixes tongue-in-cheek humor (how to spot a church alligator) with very practical advice on parish life for the pastor (how to work successfully with staff). It also offers tips for a pastor's personal, spiritual, and mental well-being. While admittedly Lutheran centered, much the advice given can be applied across many mainline churches. It's a quick, easy, read and would be enjoyed by anyone wishing to have a better peak into the life of a pastor or minister.… (más)
