Inderjeet Singh

I like this book by Inderjeet Singh, even though I feel that his writing style is a bit dry and formal.

The book has filled an essential gap in my knowledge. I did not know that Hindus and Sikhs have lived in Afghanistan for many years, or that Hindu kings ruled Afghanistan until about 1100 AD.

Hindus and Sikhs did play an important role in Afghanistan’s economy and political world for many centuries. This role has diminished considerably in the last one hundred years or so.

The chronology of the book does get a bit confusing at times. Apart from this, I definitely think that this book by Inderjeet Singh is worth reading.… (más)
