This movie is remarkably gross. Every adult character in it should end up in jail. Meanwhile, it doesn't even bother to do anything entertaining beyond simply putting Drew Barrymore on screen (which, to be fair, is enough for me to give the movie one point out of four).

Partially successful examination on self-concept and self-assurance. Sadly, when Renee gains in those areas, she loses in empathy, even for her best friends.
And it was subtle, but there was cheating in the makeup the actress wore from one scene to the next, which helped to make the audience see her differently as well.
And let's not even consider the shallowness of the plot where self-worth was tied to a make-up company product line. Eh?

Still, despite its flaws, we enjoyed this film. I would recommend it for anyone who likes this genre, and wants a fluffy hour and a half that's a bit different from the average rom-com.… (más)
