This book contains hundreds of science activities for teachers to use as is or to use with their own alterations. All of the activities pertain to outdoor and nature activities so that children can have actual hands-on experiences and use a variety of science process skills. At the beginning of each lesson, this book lists the process skills that children will be using, along with the grade level that the lesson is best suited for. Therefore, a teacher can make sure they are hitting the proper skills for that grade level. National standards and a variety of state standards are also used throughout the book and are given before each lesson as well.
