"Spoiler Alert! The book A Kid From Southie by John “Red” Shea and Michael Harmon was a fiction book. The narrative mode of the book is in first person.
The book is about a kid Aiden O’Connor who has two lives one life is he is a boxer who is almost pro and his second life is he is in the Irish mob. He gets into a dangerous mess that could get him killed.
The book took place in South Boston which is full of drunks. His parents are both drunks so he has to take care of himself and does whatever he wants. He kind of lives on the streets but he has a home but he does not go home often. Somehow he gets mixed in with the Irish mob but he gets a lot of money. He also meets the love of his life, Angel, and he takes care of her because her dad is sick.
Her dad does not approve of Aiden but he still dates his daughter anyway. Aiden’s biggest job for the Irish mob is that he has to kill someone which is Angel’s dad but he does not do it even though her dad is going to die soon anyway."… (más)
