Sara Seager

This memoir follows astrophysicist Sara Seager as she navigates her professional life as an exoplanet researcher, motherhood, and widowhood after the loss of her husband. It's a book about profound grief, even as Seager has spent her professional career looking to find traces of life in other parts of the universe.

I've wanted to read this for a while, and I'm happy that I finally got around to it. Seager's writing is lovely, and I found this to be a really touching and vulnerable story.

Sara has written a very compelling story about her life and all the transitions she went thru on many different levels and areas. Her scientific work has contributed immensely to the good of our planetary knowledge, I was inspired to read her story.

An MIT astrophysicist must reinvent herself in the wake of tragedy and discovers the power of connection on this planet, even as she searches our galaxy for another Earth.

I started it but it wasn't what I wanted right now. I might try it again later, post pandemic.
