An easy read romance. Bee has loved Cole forever, so when he sends for her twin, she decides to replace Sarah.
Emma's Wish contains several items on my greatest hits list for a good frontier historical: hunky widower, pretty spinster, adorable kids, emotional angst, a little suspense and some great lovin'. It's a good steady-paced read with characters you care about from the get-go. While it may not fit everyone's idea of a beach read, I read it while lying on a beach and it fit the bill just fine. Heartwarming and thoroughly enjoyable, Emma's Wish should be on your frontier historical must-read list.

This story starts out with Olivia and she's on her way back from the orphanage where she helps out. Her relative had passed and left her and house and she loved the area so took up residence.
Story is also following Landry Mitchell who's been released after serving his full sentence in prison.
Love how he comes to the resuce of her being attacked. Misconceptions and she likes giving second chances.
Love hearing about her baking back then and of his blacksmithing work, along with other good deeds for the neighbors.
Never saw it ending as it did, super good surprise.
