This amazing story places us in a world that is incredibly thought out and detailed you feel like you are a part of it. Senara has magic which one wouldn’t think is a bad thing yet in this kingdom magic is forbidden so she has to keep that about herself a secret. When a night of incredible heat happens between her and Thorn they think it’s a one and done never having to see the other again, but they are so wrong when he turns out to be basically her superior. The tension and passion they have is so tangible they find it hard to deny it and yet they are completely forbidden for each other. What a story that is full of twists and turns that is so original and unique. It is beautifully written with amazingly beautiful characters. I loved Cress and her strong personality. She is kind but also has a fiery spirit. Roan, Orion, and Sorrell have such different personalities but yet they are fierce and strong. They chemistry is strong and felt throughout the story. There is drama, suspense, a bit of mystery, lots of action and some sexy love scenes. It is a gripping story that pulls you in and doesn’t let go. This is a fantastic first book in the series. This is not a standalone read, so if you haven't read book one then I HIGHLY suggest doing so. Filled to the brim with action, suspense, prophecy, steamy scenes, and a fee surprises along the way. Most definitely is NOT a boring read in any way. Nina and her guys face even more trials in their attempt to just live their own lives. The mystery of WHY Jax is so determined to have her deepens even more. I can't wait for the next installment of this adventure filled series. Nina really seems to be coming into her own, and possibly on the brink of learning a few key details about herself. Enjoy this exciting ride!!… (más)
