As strongly written as this novel is, I couldn’t lose myself in the story. The pacing is very deliberate and the proofreading is good. The details are spot on. I simply want something that sets the bigger plot points earlier so I can enjoy the development. 30% into the book and I don’t know anything about the world, because they changed worlds in the last chapter.
Not my type of novel.
