My mom had this book at her house. I think she got it at the Gerst museum in Darke County, Ohio.
What I liked: I did not know of Annie Oakley's connections to Ohio until recently. I enjoyed learning more about that. The many photos and illustrations
What I didn't like: The recitations of Annie's travels with the Wild West Show(s). It was more just like a list of where she went and where she performed--not too much detail.
A vivid portrayal in words and photographs of the most famous female western star of the early 20th century: Phoebe Ann Moses (her real name). Includes a bit about Johnny Baker, another sharp-shooter, who happens to be the one who built High Jinks near Oracle.
